AQUA ZERO DIVE CENTRE is a locally owned and operated diver training facility. As well as teaching people how to dive, we have everything for the swimmer, snorkeller , spear fishing and SCUBA diver. Since opening in October 1995, Sunshine, Adell, Brian, Clair and myself have become part of the furniture in our local community, trading seven days a week.
Our Dive Centre was the proud winner of the 1997 Small Business Award for the Most Outstanding Sport Store. The award was nominated by our customers and we have taken this as a vote of support for the way we do what we do.
We are located beside Swansea Channel, making it a very short walk to the boat or water not to mention what used to be a beautifully distracting view from the window.
This glorious piece of coastline is a wonderful area for diving and snorkeling and our aim is to show as many people as possible that you don't have to travel far for some fabulous dives. We have Shipwrecks, Caverns, Reef and Currents and a top Jetty dive at the Swansea Bridge, that are all worth exploring over and over again.
Involvement with Swansea High School, Irrawang High School, Mount View High School, Avondale High and their Marine Studies, Snorkelling, and SCUBA Diving groups has provided the opportunity to educate our youth on the marine environment and the impact that people have on it. Hopefully this will produce an attitude of respect and understanding for our waterways, so that generations to come can have the same fantastic experiences that we have in the water today.
Our social dive club has ages from 12 to 76 years and they make a habit of the BBQ's, bus trips, overseas holidays, club dinners...oh and of course some diving. Drop in some time and have a look around, you might be surprised what there is to see!
